Is this me getting to remember being a teen all over again? Heady times, if you'll pardon the expression. I lived at that time within easy walking distance of the old Fillmore Auditorium and these shows were cheap enough that it was easy to see whatever was on without worrying about who was on the bill. At least something was always good and there were lots of surprises (Woody Herman, Hendriks/Lambert/Ross, Preservation Hall Jazz Band to go with the standard Airplane, Dead, Quicksilver, Janis, Blue Cheer, Steve Miller and the like. Glad some of this is around in recorded form of some type.
