24HR PLAYLISTS

Just thought I would mention the playlist concept that I have decided to implement on the site. It will be my goal to feature a new playlist at least every month if not a little more often. Of course it will have "24" songs and be in conjunction with the current posting trend on the site. This list will be rotated to the bottom of the page as new ones are placed at the top. The current list will be deemed the "July" playlist so look for another to follow for August or a special event. It would great if some of you would give me some feedback on the site and of course any ideas you may have. Postings will occasionally have a link to music downloads and of course you know the email address if you should like to make contact

Hi Bill
Just to say the family rescue dog 'Lucky' (I may have sent you a pic, a while or go back) passed on to the Happy Hunting Lands a month or so back....he was 16 years of age.
Glad to read your blog....am up to my arm-pits in Heritage work, we have a three monthly Summer Exhibition up and running.
If you've not heard the new P.I.L. cd or seen John on dvd you should try to....he is Britains last true musical genius.....
Another highlight last week was hearing The Dubliners version of "Leaving Nancy"....Hope you get some feedback from your readers??
Good to see you are featuring Dino this week.
I'll pop in again sometime soon.
Best regards

Nice choices for July. Glad to see the Freedom Highway track, I thought I was the only person who liked them:-)

Since you asked, The Charlatans - Alabama Bound. Always one of my favorite tunes. Spent many a night at one of the various S.F. ballrooms hearing them play this tune. I never heard a bad version. Also Moby Grape - Dark magic (it would have to be from a bootleg since they never released it). Also maybe a track by The Orkustra. Country weather - Fly to New York. So many great S.F. classics.

PS: Great to find you again.
