BRUMMELS 75

With the demise of Stoneground, Sal would become active in work with Ron Elliot from his days with the Beau Brummels. in 74 a reunion of that band would become reality with the help of original drummer John Peterson. A tour would happen and a great LP would be made . It was short lived however and the band would again move it;s separate ways. I highly recommend the official 75 reunion LP

A little less circulated show from the 75 club tour. Fairly good sound quality

Set List:

01 - SINGING COWBOY
02 - LAUGH LAUGH
03 - CHARLY CHAPLIN SONG
04 - FIRST IN LINE
05 - YOU TELL ME WHY

07 - GOLDRUSH
08 - JUST A LITTLE
09 - MELODY
10 - RESTLESS SOUL

Beau Brummels from any period is great. These guys were much better than their reputation. I saw them live a couple of times, and thought the albums were weak in comparison. Dec was the only one I met, and he came across as a very friendly and warm guy.Too bad the record company made them record that horrible album of covers (Beau Brummels '66). It ruined their credibility in the beginning of the hippie era, as they were viewed as sell outs, despite the fact that all the S.F. bands were playing cover tunes. All the albums are worth getting including as Bill says the reunion album. The also had a pretty nice live album from their 74 tour called "LIVE!".

Thanks for these shows, I didn't even know they existed - YIPEEEE!
