TIME AWAY........NEED A BREAK

With this posting I think I need to take some time away from this blog. Maybe the summer months have got everyone busy on other things but the visits to the site have slowed done. I  have noticed in tha last few weeks that most of the music sites are posting less. I know my selections are only searched for  by a limited audience. Maybe the old hippies are reaching their final days. Just the thought of a world without the boomers music makes me cringe. I am hoping that with this break I can return in a better frame of mind and with a re--newed interest.. Has anyone ever thought about what the Yankees may have done if Babe Ruth came to bat 450 times in the season but only hit
home runs?

I will return after a while. and hope you are still with me.

As a daily visitor to this wonderful site, I will miss you. I very much enjoy your song comps and your Bay Area/St. Louis-centric posts and just about everything you post! Enjoy your time away. In August, I'm headed to New Zealand with my family for an extended stay. Looking forward to the adventure.

Have a great break. Enjoy yourself. Take as much time as you need to recharge.

The reason I'm downloading less is that with summertime, I have grandchildren all day (instead of just after school). Maybe others of my age group are in the same situation.

Yeah, you do a lot and need a break. Go ahead and take one. As for me, this Boomer is going to take a nap.

Take some holidays in the sun and bring us more of this beautiful stuff in the cold and windy season.
I take the time to dig in the older post and read the whole stuff.
Many thanks for the good time. Cheers

Hi Bill,
I just want to thank you for all your efforts on a great looking blog and particularly for all the great music you have shared over the years. I can understand the need for a break and if what you are doing is no longer the fun it was, then by all means step away from the computer. I have noticed others on your blog roll announcing vacations. I will continue to check in here and if I run across something interesting to share with you I have your address. Now get out and do something you enjoy. I could use some time to organize my files anyway. Hope to see you back when the weather changes and we all come back indoors.
Wishing you peace and prosperity, steVe

Oh, man, I have dreaded the day when the music does really die since the day I turned the radio on and my favorite FM college station was playing disco and punk. Take the summer off, re-energize, and know that we are here anxiously awaiting your return.
