One of John's longest running associations was with Nick Gravenites. John and Nick played together in many different lineups and band names. T and L, The Cipollina - Gravenites Band, Nicksilver, were all names that John and Nick used while playing together. Gravenites is a blues musician primarily and this gave John to be a part of some bluesy type music and still give us his regular mastery of the guitar.
