ELEKTRO-PFLAUMEN BERLIN
There has been some inquiries about one of my own personal favorites...The Electric Prunes.
So I thought I would repost a couple of things by them. They have just releaseD a new CD of a live show from Stockholm from the same venue as their 67 LP. The band suffered a big loss with the passing of Mark Tulin a year or so back, however their resurgence from 2004 until his death was a breath of fresh air (or sound if you will) for myself since I have always enjoyed their foray into psychedelic music. Here's a re post of a show from Berlin in 2004. Track list courtesy of Bob W
Thanks

Glad to see new (well 2004) material from the Electric Prunes. They released an excellent CD titled California in 2004 so the band was pretty good at that time. Unfortunately, I believe the band has called it quits since Mark Tulin's death last year. I did not like their David Axelrod period (Mass in F Minor, etc.) but loved the early stuff and the post Axelrod material. You can never have enough Electric Prunes. Here's the set list:

I think my favorite New Prunes was Feedback. I listened to that one over and over and over. It holds together all the way through. It made me wonder why other groups didn't make music like that anymore.

What do you have against Brain Dead Individuals? Mr. Heizlufter. Especially this close to Halloween. Is it envy I detect?
