Just a couple of comments and then I will turn off the record player on JA. Truly one of most talented bands from the west coast 60's time frame. They meta morphed from a simple folk rock act into the huge psychedelic band. They really only had a couple of "hit" singles but their LP's were always chart toppers. They had a tremendous following and earned a reputation as a premier jam band. Their SF " family "of friends showcased many great musicians over their existence and they were the focal point of the San Francisco sound.
