COMMENT ON COMMENTS

I would like to take the time to make a few comments on my own about your comments and requests. First and foremost is my thanks to those of you who take the time to give me feedback. A blogger can never receive enough comments on his site. I try to respond to your requests and emails as soon as possible. As you know most of the links to music expire rapidly with the server being used. Pretty much they expire after 30 days if there are no hits or downloads. I cannot go back and re up everything but have to pick and choose what I do. I have noticed in the past month or so that a lot of comments are coming to the blog with links to "commercial" sites. I do not post commercial links and the blogger settings are programed to send those to a spam box. If you will notice I do not run any ads on the site as I am sponsored by nobody and believe that the focus on the blog should be the music and of course my tinkering in the artwork. So once again I ask for your feedback and remember the music is intended to be shared with you with the hope you will be able to hear what happened in the music scene at a special time.

Your efforts to get music to people who will enjoy it is greatly appreciated. Many of these artists would be unknown without their recordings being heard by a new generation as well as revitalized to older listeners.

Keep doing what you enjoy. There are many of us out here who deeply appreciate what you offer. You provide a wonderful service in letting us hear things we would not normally listen to. For myself, I was never a big Doug Sham fan, but listening to some of things you posted made me appreciate him much more, and I went and bought a couple of his CDs. I also got to hear a couple of rarities by the Seeds I didn't know existed. Personally I would not bother with re-upping material unless you get enough requests to justify your time (or they ask really, really nicely). Please keep posting what you like it expands all of our musical horizons. plus THANK YOU for all your efforts.

Bob W.
