I could find very little info on this but I will tell you it sounds like a soundboard and contains one truly awesome WDYL. This particular one is 30 minutes long and Nicky Hopkins can be heard in the mix and he sounds stark raving mad.His piano is a great boost to a song in which you would Not expect it. One of the best versions of this song I have ever heard.

Great show, I had not heard this one before. You are absolutely right regarding WDYL - yahoo!!!!
In all the years I've been collecting (since 1971) and despite being a Fred Neil fan, I've never seen or heard the John & Fred collaboration. I remember back in the day when the two were playing together, everyone was talking about it. We were expecting a new album by Fred with John playing a significant role. Then nothing. It was extremely disappointing. If someone has the tapes please contact Bill here on 24 hour deja vu - many of us would like to hear them.

The file was titled Winterland 1975, so I assume that's where it is from. QMS played Winterland in December of 75 so that seems about right.

Why apologize, the 75 show is pretty cool, with a very hot Mona I would not have heard otherwise. Don't beat yourself up mistakes happen - I mistook Mona for WDYL when I first listened to the show.
