MEETING STEVE McQUEEN

One from Peter's " Live in Bremen with David West" CD.

Had a woman that passed me by
I think she knew the score
Cause as time rolls on
I'm more aware of what she's taken me for

Got a baby, depends on me
I think he has me pinned
Cause he knows he can scatter my world
Like a leaf in the wind

Chorus:

I wonder, did the truth just pass me by?
Or did I just not see what was right before my eyes?

I used to know two dying men
I hope that someone saves
Now they're nighttime riders
In the daylight diggin' their graves

Got a heaven hanging over head
Waits for me to win
And I don't know why
I should be so afraid to begin

Thank you for all of these great 'Grape pictures, songs, comments, etc Also for the Truly Fine Citizen Award link to Orphanage show[ maybe the most recently posted show from the band?!?] This Bremen show is fantastic, too. If you go to http://blog.psychedelicjams.com and search Peter Lewis, he has all of the rest of this FM broadcast that didn't make the CD in excellent sound! It's a must have if you like this album and includes more stories and more 'Grape songs. Thanks again for keeping your blog open, I'm truly enjoying checking in every day.

I drop buy every couple of days to check what you are up to. For some reason I never noticed the Award until it was mentioned above. What a surprise. I was so bummed when I missed that Orphanage show. So rare to find one I didn't already have, thanks to you. So I searched all over and found a couple links in odd places that didn't work. Very frustrating knowing of it's existence and not able to hear it. I think I'll go check it out now. Thank you again. I enjoy what you are doing here now.

The award was kind of my way to let folks get that one since I was ready to post it when Megaupload had it's plug pulled . As I do my blogging I probably will "reward" the readers with a few surprises

Thanks Bill. I'll keep my eyes & grapes peeled now that I know what I'm looking for.

Yeah I saw that Grape posted but downloaded the two Big Brothers. Came back the next day to get it and it was gone. The whole internet that day reminded me of the old si-fi flick The Day The Earth Stood Still. Of course I'm just a collector whereas the site owners lost their investment. Very sad. But glad you are doing well if not the same.

Any chance you could give me the dates to those two Big Brother shows? Tribal Stomp & Reunion. That's how fast things happened. I didn't get the info.

Thank you for the info. Added it to my files. Now I'll know what I've got & won't live in fear of downloading it again some other time.

Just noticed track 9 is missing. Doesn't match up with The KSAN Vault. Maybe on SF Nights but that will take time to check. But if not I'm always happy for what I've got. You really built up my collection over the years.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. You're most kind.
