GRAPE SERVER

A couple of more posts and that should wind up the run of Moby Grape material. I thank you for tuning in and hope I have hit a nerve with some of you. As I have said before I consider The Grape to be one my most favorite bands and have always enjoyed their style of music and the escapades that seemed to follow them in their career,  I remember when the compact disc first hit the market and it was inevitable that it would be the medium that eliminated the god awful cassette tape. The first LP by the band was  the very first CD that I would purchase in 86 or87 It cost me $40 at the time but I felt it was vital to have that one right away. Over the years I have collected a huge amount of CD's but the Moby Grape one still serves as one of my always played CDs
Thanks to you guys who helped fill in the blanks on some of my titles and information. There have been a couple of requests for getting CD copies of the shows I would recommend that you download a free program that will burn CDs from the files. I do not think I would be able to add that workload to my day .
You can go to this webpage and download an excellent CD burner (and Free) to make your own CDs

About a week or so ago I got a comment from Auwiea and He gave me a link to catch a couple of shows that he had done in a few years back Check it out from the comment on the Axe and Oar posting and if Auweia does not mind I will put a link posting for the shows and create some artwork for them also. What do you say Mr. A ?

After the next couple of post I will lay low for awhile and come back with The Doug Sahm Scandinavian materials that was asked about and then maybe look at some New Riders or Airplane Who knows!?

You can link to my live recordings any time. I have a few more I might upload sometime...btw, there was also a Doug Sahm tribute last year with Boz Scaggs and Delbert McLinton and others at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and I recorded that too
