TIN MAN

Going to take a little break from the blog for a while. Having a few aches and pains( nothing serious)
You older readers know what I am talking about and you younger ones have it to look forward to. I always enjoyed the above image. Kind of puts life in a true perceptiveness. Bill

Great collage of all of our lost music heroes! Boy, am I getting old: we've lost an awful lot of amazing musicians. Very nice tribute, you could fill a second one with even "lesser" known people [just bluesmen would fill a .page!]. Must be a nice jam session going on somewhere! Larry

That's an amazing piece of art you have created for your header. More dead rock stars than presidents on US currency. No wonder we haven't heard from you. You've been very busy. I saved the picture so I can scrutinize it better. Is that Jimmy Carl Black in the lower right? And Gram Parsons on the motorcycle? OK, I really gotta check this out.

Thanks for all you do,
steVe

I will try to provide a key to the above image if time permits and yes that is "Jimmy Carl" (the indian of the group) and Gram on the bike enjoy and see how many you recognize and hopefully have not forgotten.

Another San Fran related musician has passed away, although from a slightly younger group of musicians. Scoot Miller died on April 15th. He led two great 80's-90's bands; Game Theory and The Loud Family. He hadn't recorded much lately but was planning on some new Game Theory music later this year according to his website. They are also offering free D/L's of most of their hard to find albums for awhile. Great bands, and he will be truly missed. Larry
